Update or remove apps

Keep LocalStore and your apps current, and remove anything you don't use.

Update LocalStore

  1. Open LocalStore and tap Check for update in the Account card.
  2. If there's a new version, LocalStore downloads it, checks our signature, and installs it. It restarts by itself.

Your settings and your account link stay as they were.

Update apps

  • Apps we host: the App store card says update available. Tick the app and tap Install selected.
  • Google Play apps: open Aurora Store and use its updates list.

Remove an app

  1. In LocalStore, scroll to Installed apps.
  2. Tap the app, then Remove. Its data is deleted with it.

Apps built into the head unit can't be removed this way. Tick Show built-in system apps to see them listed.

Removing LocalStore itself also works from Installed apps. Apps it installed stay on the car.
